Smoking

I've been religiously smoking for over a year now. My lungs hurt, I have trouble breathing at any act of physical activity, and I get spicy when I don't get to smoke regularly. Oh, and I have a horrible smokers laugh already. Not to mention it doesn't help that my natural laugh makes me sound like an 80 year old grandpa. AND I almost forgot about the ridiculous amount of money I spend on cigarettes weekly.

The point of this post is that I've recently decided I shall suck it up and quit smoking. It is currently day 4 of quitting my horrible habit, and I've never felt better... Well, I shouldn't say that. I do feel amazing, but I also have moments where I would like to punch the nearest person in the mouth, or steal their wallet and spend a copious amount of money on cigarettes. Luckily this hasn't happened...yet.

I've realized the main thing that is helping the cravings is working out daily. For some reason when I work out, any cravings that I would usually have through out the day have subsided. Oh, and drinking lots of water. I think I've switched the habit of smoking to drinking water. I'm addicted. I should watch my intake, I've heard that you can drown yourself if you drink too much h20. I guess that's better than dying of lung cancer. It isn't as satisfying, though.

Anyways, I figured it would be a good idea to talk about this on my blog, not only will it hold me personally accountable, but friends who read this can possibly hold me accountable as well.

DAY 4 PEOPLE!

Holla!

What the hell? Who are you? Where have you been? Do I know you? These are all questions you may be asking, since I've been M.I.A. for 6 billion years. Well, let us see here, I'm Taylor James, I've been around, and you may possibly know me.

In all reality I've been neglecting this blog because I've been having the time of my life. School has officially started..3 weeks ago, and I'm already procrastinating my readings...what's new? I dropped my psychology online class due to the reason I read my final paper topic and decided I didn't understand a word it was asking of me. Oh well. On the topic of school, today was the final cut off day of paying tuition, and guess what? My student loan has yet to arrive in the mail. Let me ask you this, StudentAid B.C., do you want me to pay your interest rates for the rest of my life, or do you want me to drop out of University? It's up to you, but I think I know what you'd really like out of me...

Oh another interesting topic, I'm moving out in ONE WEEK with my friend Merry Lou! We'll be living in a two bedroom apartment, second level, and on top of that, for super cheap! We decided to paint the second bedroom a neutral yellow, since there's a baby on the way. JOKES. But yes, I'm very excited for this. Going from living on your own, to moving back in with your parents is not exactly what I had imagined I'd be doing anytime soon. So moving out again will be a nice treat. When I'm in Peru for 3 months we've decided that it would be easier to just find someone to live in my bedroom for that period of time. So one of mlou's friends will be sleeping in my bed, and hopefully not engaging in coitus.

I hope to post more frequently, but my time management skills are greatly lacking as of late. Don't miss me too much!
